About

How we fly people between New York and Florida

Private Jet NY to Miami arranges private jet charter on one of the busiest leisure routes in the country. Here is how the service works, the standards behind it and what to expect.

The service

Broker, not airline

Private Jet NY to Miami is an air charter broker and is not a direct air carrier. We do not own or operate aircraft; every flight is operated by an FAA Part 135 (or foreign equivalent) direct air carrier in operational control of the aircraft.

Our job is to know the route: which New York airport suits your address, which Florida runway is closest to where you are sleeping, which aircraft sizes make sense for your group and bags, and how the season will affect availability. We compare operators for your dates and send you options with all-in prices.

We arrange one-way, round-trip and multi-city trips, including onward legs to the Keys, the Bahamas or anywhere else, on aircraft from turboprops to long-range jets. There is no membership, deposit or sign-up involved in asking for a quote.

Standards

Who flies you

Flights within the US are operated under FAA Part 135, the rule set for on-demand charter, which governs maintenance programmes, pilot training and crew duty and rest. International legs are flown by operators holding the equivalent certificate in their own country.

Many operators also hold third-party audit ratings: ARGUS Gold, Gold+ or Platinum, Wyvern Wingman, or IS-BAO registration at stage 1, 2 or 3. Each option we send names the operator, its certificate and any ratings, so you can check them. The FAA explains how charter operators are certificated.

What to expect

From request to arrival

Before booking: options by email with the aircraft, the operator and the all-in price, and one advisor to answer questions about either end of the trip.

Booking: a charter agreement that sets the price, payment timing and cancellation terms.

The day: drive to the private terminal, meet the crew and board. The captain decides on weather and safety; in winter, de-icing in New York may add a short wait.

After landing: any variable items shown on your quote are settled as the agreement describes, and the same advisor can line up the flight home.
